This website represent the Claypeak Cross that overlooks Payette, Idaho. This Cross has a 50 plus year history and is a statement to the people of Payette County and City of Payette, Idaho.
This years Run/Walk to the Cross is on May 18th at 8am. Registration will be at the McCain Middle School starting at 7am. The “Race” start exactly at 8:30am and is a 5K race to the Cross and back to McCain. This is a very tough 5K and has been ran in the mid 22 minute time in the past. The majority of participates walk to the Cross and back. You may also start at the Bottom of Clay Peak road and walk to the top and back. This path is approximately one mile. This year after 9am we will be offering rides to the Cross to experience the view. If you would like to experience one of the best views of the Treasure Valley come join us and start your day out with a great wake up.
